Arizona Trail, Cody Section                                              Hike Leader: Frank Price

Though there’s a 1,200 ft. elevation gain over three miles, we’re rating this a C+ hike because of the easy switchbacks as we venture into a ‘must see’ area on the back side of the Catalina’s.   We’ll travel on the Arizona Trail through Wild Bill Cody’s ranch where he also established several gold mines.  We’ll see the damage caused by the Oracle forest fire.

Here are some pic's from the Nov 18th hike to "Arizona Trail, Cody section". The group was so big with many new hikers that I broke the group into two groups for the hike and took a picture of each group at the start of the trail The pic at the top is only one group.
