Monday, December 13th     Pima Canyon         Hike Leader: Betty Wacker  

Using the rating scale, this hike falls into the B level.  However, at a slow pace, the 800ft gain spread over the 3.2 mile one way distance to the turnaround point, it’s not that bad.  You’ll have a view of the entire Tucson area before entering the Canyon where you loose view of everything but nature.  Lunch will be at a spot where Hohokam Indians rested and ground their grain in rock mortars.  Bring two liters of water, snacks and lunch for this pleasant slow paced hike
