Procedure
for getting digital pictures of hikes and special hiking functions to the
Heritage Highlands Web Site
Person that took the pictures –
Select 3 to 9 pictures that pictorially define the hike.
The ideal pictures contain hikers and scenery
E-mail the pictures to Steve
Wacker at steve@wackerwacker.com. or
provide Steve with a CD containing both the pictures and description.
E-mail Subject –
“Heritage Highlands Hiking Pictures”
Body of E-mail –
The first line of
the e-mail should be the date, name
of hike and hike leader.

If a description of the hike is not provided,
Steve will use the description from the Hike Schedule.
For every picture that is added to the Hiker Web Site, two copies of it
must be emailed to Steve.
The following picture
sizes are meant to be used as guidelines for the purpose of
speeding up the viewing of pictures:
Copy
one – The actual picture.
Scenery
pictures should be no larger than 150kb. Pictures
with faces should be no large than250kb.
Copy
two – A thumbnail view of the
picture. The
thumbnail view should be no larger that 25kb.
Indicate on the first e-mail the total number of pictures you are
sending, not counting the thumbnails, and how many e-mails it will take to send
all the pictures..

Attach the pictures
Steve Wacker Will Add The Pictures To Web Site –
Steve may elect to further reduce the pixels on the
pictures placed on the Web site.
Steve will display the hike
date, hike name and the hike leader followed by the description of the hike that
appears on the Monthly Hike Schedule. The
water, snacks and lunch comments will be removed from the description.

This is a very
scenic hike through dense saguaro cactus groves along the 3.2 mile Sweetwater
Trail gaining 1,200’ to the junction of the King Canyon Trail.
This will be the turnaround point for the C+ group.
After resting the B group will continue another 1.2 miles and gain 687
feet to
Wasson
Peak
for a
panoramic view of
Tucson
.
