September 10, 2004 Mount Lemmon           Hike Leader Gary Borax

The hike and picnic will be at the very top of Mount Lemmon.  We will hike from the top, down the Meadow Trail and the Lemmon Ridge Trail to a large rock out-cropping.  This one mile trek will start at 9100 feet and drop down to 8800 feet.  Of course after lunch, we will hike back up the trail with a 300 feet elevation gain to get back to the cars.  We will have our lunch at one of the most impressive overlooks in the Catalina Mountains
